Make a call
A: Excuse me. May I use the phone?
B: Yes, you may.
A: Thank you. I need to call my boss regarding the details of the seminar.
B: I see.
A: My mobile phone ran out of charge, and my boss is expecting a feedback from me. Anyway,
do I have to press 9 before I dial the number?
B: No need, you may dial the number directly.
1. Can you live without a mobile phone?
Sample answer:
I can live without a mobile phone probably for a few days, but it will be very difficult if it is more than a month. I am out most of the time, so
it is important for me to have a mobile phone to get in touch with my family and friends.
2. Do you use VOIP when making international calls?
Sample answer:
Yes, I use it when I am at home. It is more cost efficient than calling through my mobile phone although sometimes the sound quality is not
that good.
3. How long was your longest phone call?
Sample answer:
Perhaps, it is about 2 hours. I am not fond of talking on the phone for long hours. It is such a waste of time.
