1. You are in a restaurant. After drinking three glasses of iced tea, you suddenly feel that you need to go to the
restroom. It is your first time to eat in that restaurant so you do not know where the restroom is. You approach
one of the staffs and ask for:

a. the location of the restroom
b. if the restroom is clean

Sample answer:
Excuse me. It is my first time here, and I do not know where the restroom is. Can you tell me where it is? One more thing, is it clean? I know I
should not be asking you about it, but I am just very meticulous when it comes to restrooms. I cannot stand using a dirty restroom.

2. You are in a mall. Your son needs to change his diaper. The restroom on the third floor does not have an infant
changing table. You go to the customer service station and ask if:

a. there is a restroom on the second floor near the elevator
b. if there is an infant changing table

Sample answer:
Hi! I would like to know if there is a restroom on the second floor near the elevator because I am carrying several plastic bags. It is somewhat
heavy. Does it have an infant changing table? The one on the third floor does not have one, so I had to look for another one. It is very incon-
venient.
