                    for his 18-year old grandson. The problem is he does not know which camera would be perfect for him. His
                    grandson has just begun learning about photography. You are explaining to him about the following:
                    a.  differences between a point and shoot camera, and a Digital SLR
                    b.  the features of Canon Power shot SD850 IS Digital ELPH

                    There are several differences between a normal point and shoot camera and a Digital SLR in terms of: (1) auto-focus and auto-exposure, (2)
                    quality of images and (3) photographic control. If you would like to carry your camera anytime and anywhere, then you should go for a point
                    and shoot camera. However, if you want to have more artistic and creative control over your photos then a Digital SLR would be perfect for you.
                    Since your grandson has just begun, learning about photography, then a point and shoot camera is more suitable for him. I suggest that you
