I’ve heard from Mom that you’re having trouble with the monthly amortization of your house. Bro, just tell me if you need help. I’ll be more
than willing to give you a hand. I can pay for half of the monthly amortization which is around $1,250, right? I hope you will accept my offer
because I’m just concerned about the welfare of your family.

2. You can see that your child is having difficulty completing his school project but he wants to finish it by him-
self. You approach him to give him some words of encouragement and reassurance.

Sample answer:
That’s amazing. Is it almost finished? I’m so proud of you because you’re such a diligent student. However if you’re having some trouble com-
pleting your project please don’t hesitate to ask help from me. You know that I’ll be more than glad to give you a hand. Can I stay here in your
room while you’re doing your project?
