Graphics Student Participates in WBL
Senior Carrie Hayes is participating in a DMTC work-based learning co-
op with Ad - Craft Signs, a locally owned graphics company that has
been in business for over 30 years located on John B. White Sr. Blvd.
Carrie is pictured cutting out the lettering design for bricks in a local
park. She will be a completer in the Graphic Communications program
when she graduates in May 2023.
Welding & Carpentry Student Participates in WBL
Senior Luke Rogers is participating in a DMTC work-based co-op with Watkins
Brothers Inc., a family owned and operated business in Cowpens that has been
in business since 1970 and specializes in heavy fabrication. Luke is pictured gas
metal arc welding (MIG) support angles. He will be a double completer in Weld-
ing and Carpentry when he graduates in May 2023 and plans to further his
welding career and work in the real estate field as well.
Automotive Student Participates in WBL
Senior Noah Cowen is participating in a DMTC work-based learning co-op
with Advantage A/C, Muffler and Brakes, a company located on Union
Street that has been serving the Spartanburg area since 2007. Noah is
pictured performing an oil change. Noah will be a completer in Automo-
tive Technology and Electricity when he graduates in May 2023.
Carpentry Student Participates in WBL
Senior Cade Henderson is participating in a DMTC work-based learning co-op
with Heath Handy Man Services. Cade is pictured installing a window in a resi-
dential home in Spartanburg. Cade will be a completer in Carpentry and a con-
centrator in Machine Tool Technology when he graduates in May 2023. His
postsecondary plans are to attend Spartanburg Community College to gain
more technical training.
