BRAZOS VALLEY # 378, Col. Henry C. Hill, Secretary,
hchill@suddenlink.net. On May 6, 2021, Bro. Laurence
Potts presided over the monthly chapter meeting. Twenty-two
members and wives were present which nearly equaled our
usual attendance before the Covid Pandemic. Bro. Henry Hill
gave the Toast to the Flag. Recently elected Brazos County
Sheriff Wayne Dicky spoke to the group on law enforcements
need for expanded access to mental health organizations. He
stressed the need for a local crisis care facility to intervene in
situations involving individuals with mental health issues.
Sheriff Dicky also explained the role of the sheriff department
and its relationship with municipal police agencies. The
meeting was closed in prayer by the Chaplain Bro. Clyde

GARDEN STATE #438, SGT Jeffrey E. Boland, Secretary, jef-
frey.boland@gmail.com. Bros. Christopher Sands, Pres. and Michael Hrycak
presented Angelina Xu her first-place plaque and check for $3000.00 for her first-
place finish in the National Sojourners Essay competition. She is a senior at Ridge
High School in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. She will be attending MIT next fall. We
also had our first in person meeting this year last month. His Excellency, General
George Washington gave a lecture on his 1776 New Jersey Campaign. (Pictured

We held an in-person meeting on April 27. We had our election of officers for next
year and His Excellency, General Washington gave a talk about his military and
Masonic experiences. He was portrayed by Bro. Sam Harris. (pictured to right).
