The National President accepted a motion to approve all the National Annual Reports as printed and provided
to the delegates. It was so moved, seconded, and approved.
The National President called on the President of NASOCOCO, Brother Carl J. Diamond for a report on the
future considerations for National meetings. Brother Diamond reported we met the contractual requirements
for this year’s ANC with the hotel. He announced the locations for the next 3 MWMs and next 3 ANCs:
2024 JAN MWM – Tucson, AZ 2025 JUN ANC – Omaha, NE
2024 JUN ANC – Austin, TX 2026 JAN MWM – Austin, TX
2025 JAN MWM – Albuquerque, NM 2026 JUN ANC – Milwaukee, WI (?)
The National President called upon the Chairman of the Honor Awards Committee, Brother Marty Schwebel,
PNC, to announce this year’s nomination for the Legion of Honor recipient. Brother Pedro Arroyo, PNC was
elected by the delegates to receive the highest honor in National Sojourners.
The delegates then considered the following Resolutions to amend the National Constitution and Bylaws:
2023-01: Emeritus Membership: WITHDRAWN
2023-02: Fee for Late Submission of CAR: TABLED
2023-03: Chapter Excellence Award: PASSED
2023-04: Distribution of Earnings from Trust Fund: PASSED
2023-05: Honorary Membership Limitations: PASSED
2023-06: Chapter Installation Date and CAR Submittal Date: TABLED
2023-07: Information Technology Committee: PASSED
2023-08: Dis-Incorporation of NASOCOC: WITHDRAWN
2023-09: Dissolution of the Committee of 33: WITHDRAWN
2023-10: Removal of Committee of 33 from Review of Resolutions: FAILED
Via Zoom Teleconference, Bro.
Edward W. Nolte, PNP, PNC,
gave a PowerPoint presentation on
behalf of the Trustees about
updating the current Schedule of
Fees. Following the presentation,
the delegates approved the new
Schedule of Fees as presented. Per
Capita was increased from $20.00/
year to $35.00/year and the cost
for a Membership in Perpetuity
was increased from $255.00 to
$700.00, effective on January 1,
2024.
