4.8 Floor fixing
Only after the racks are aligned and levelled, you can start with the anchoring.

It is most important that the racks are fixed to the floor in accordance with the instructions specified
by the rack designer.

These instructions will be specific to the installation and will take into account:

● the rack application and use
● the rack’s height to width ratio

● the style of baseplate in use
● the number of fixings required for each baseplate

Floor fixing preparation procedure:

 Drill the anchor holes through the base plates.
 The holes have to be drilled in accordance with
manufacturer's instructions of the anchor
manufacturer and to be cleaned thoroughly.
 Different anchors are available for the
respective loads.
 Always follow the manufacturer’s
installation instructions.
