Under the Council, the National Coordinating Committee on Food and Nutrition (NCCFN)
which is chaired by the Deputy Director-General of Health (Public Health) serves as the coordinator and
technical advisor on nutrition to the NFSNC. The members of this Committee are from public and
private sectors taking into consideration their expertise. The Committee is responsible for monitoring
and evaluating the implementation of NPANM. The NCCFN Committee holds meetings twice a year. The
Nutrition Division, Ministry of Health Malaysia is the Secretariat for NCCFN. There are currently six
Technical Working Groups (TWGs) under NCCFN as follows:
