08 MONITORING AND EVALUATION
P eriodic monitoring and evaluation of NNPM are integrated into the NPANM and various
relevant national policies and action plans. The two major platforms to monitor and
evaluate the implementation are the National Coordinating Committee on Food and
Nutrition and the National Food Safety and Nutrition Council. Regular meetings are
conducted by the six Technical Working Groups under NCCFN to monitor the progress and
achievements of the identified activities. The NPANM progress report is presented to the
NCCFN twice a year and NFSNC annually.
The Global Nutrition Targets 2025 and Sustainable Development Goals 2030 are taken into
consideration in setting the target to evaluate the achievement of the strategies or activities
under this policy.
