GLOSSARY










                                     Anemia                    A  condition  in  which  the  haemoglobin  (Hb)  concentration  in  the  blood  is  lower  than

                                                               glucose  (or  blood  sugar),  with  the  disturbances  of  carbohydrate,  fat  and  protein
                       D             mellitus                  metabolism resulting from defects in insulin secretion or action  (WHO, 1999)
