Propane “Autogas Answers”
Workshop A Success
The Alabama Clean Fuels Coalition partnered with the Propane Education and Research
Council (PERC) and multiple sponsors to offer a Propane “Autogas Answers” workshop at
Lawson State Community College in Bessemer on July 18th. Alabama fleets and industry
experts using Propane Autogas as a transportation fuel shared their experiences along
with facts and figures on the benefits of using this clean and domestically produced
alternative fuel.
A number of propane-fueled vehicles were on display at the workshop. Propane
vehicles are proven to deliver comparable horsepower and torque compared to
conventional fuels and are perfect for school buses, shuttles, delivery vehicles and more.
