They are forming character, emotions, values, personalities etc. too

at that stage. For example, you notice that there are things you will
do the child smile, cry or show signs of sadness. Also, you notice he
will like one to carry them and it will refuse another, some will be

attached to the mother or father only and very particular about it etc.
That's why the Bible says’ to train up a child in the way he should go
and when they are old they will not turn from it’, (Proverb 22: 6),

meaning as they are growing or rather before they grow show them
the way to go so that when they grow they will not turn from it.
Underline before they grow because so many of us start training the

child when he/she is grown or before we start training and it
becomes difficult. So can we stop the excuse that they are still a child
because that is the right time? The adage “One does not learn how to

use the left hand in old age. One should search for a black goat before
nightfall”.

Pay attention to raising your children well, it is easier to nurture a
growing child than to repair a damaged adult. The Scripture
assures us that they will not depart from it and that statement was
not under probability, it categorically says they will not depart

from it when they are old. This has been argued, that so many
children came from a good home yet they are into evil but the

question is how did water enter into the stalk of pumpkin? The
scripture cannot lie so it means they should check ''THE WAY''
they train them to go.Children of ELI supposed to be from a godly
home but how are their training and Samuel's children follow

suit? The way it should go is not your own way and not what you
think is right but being sensitive in spirit that where the problem

lies in looking at Eli even when the warning was coming.
