MASARAT MISR has completed the conceptual technical
design of the intelligent transportation system (ITS) over
6 major highways in Egypt to enhance the trafﰁc ﰂow,
raise the safety on roads and maximize the return on
investment for the proposed roads. MASARAT MISR has
developed overall system architecture including physical
and logical architecture. As well as a complete trafﰁc
study and road performance before and after
implementing the proposed ITS system.
National Intelligent Transportation
System Project Implementation over
1079 km of highways
MASARAT MISR is working on the implementation of the
Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) on ground, over
6 major highways in Egypt . MASARAT MISR is executing
the following activities.
. Low level (detailed) designed review of all system
components (civil structures, ITS platform, ITS
subsystems and associated ﰁeld equipments )
. Construction supervision
. ITS, Tolling and their ﰁeld equipment (attendance of
factory Acceptance testing - FAT)
