FROM THE CHIEF OF THE CORPS

          Finance and Comptroller Team,

The Finance Corps is on the cusp of a transformative journey, guided by the
approved force design update to align our capabilities with the needs of the
Army of 2030. As changes ripple across our formations, there is a palpable
sense of anticipation and readiness to embrace the challenges and opportunities
          that lie ahead.

At the heart of this transition is a concerted effort to ensure seamless
coordination and collaboration across the Finance Corps enterprise. As the
operational arm, U.S. Army Financial Management Command (USAFMCOM) is COL Williams
leading this effort to facilitate the integration of changes within our units and
organizations, paving the way for a smooth and efficient transition.

Central to this endeavor is the revitalization of institutional products that underpin our operational
efforts. Key among these initiatives is the finalization of FM 4-80, Financial Management
Operations, our cornerstone document that provides the blueprint for finance operations and
resource management in the evolving landscape of modern warfare.

The road ahead will undoubtedly present its share of challenges, but there is a sense of optimism
and excitement for the future of our Corps. As we navigate this transition period, we do so with a
steadfast commitment to excellence and a shared vision of supporting our Army with unwavering
          dedication and proficiency.

As the Finance Corps Regimental Week approaches, Finance and Comptroller (FC) professionals
are gearing up for an engaging and insightful event centered around "Stewarding Change." From
April 24-26, we will gather to explore and discuss the transformative initiatives shaping its future
nested within Army Sustainment for 2030 to 2040.

This year's Regimental Week promises various activities designed to facilitate connection,
collaboration, and innovation among FC professionals. Attendees will delve into the challenges of
modern warfare while embracing a mindset of innovation and flexibility to navigate the dynamic
operational landscape. The week's centerpiece is the two-day FC workshop, where participants will
engage in thought-provoking discussions, share best practices, and explore cutting-edge
strategies to enhance the Finance Corps' capabilities. Through interactive sessions and
collaborative forums, attendees will gain valuable insights into the evolving role of finance and
comptroller operations as we integrate into supporting Army sustainment objectives.

Culminating the week's activities is the Finance Corps Regimental Ball, held at the historic 1917
Club, formerly known as the NCO Club, Ft. Jackson, SC. A celebration of camaraderie and
tradition, the Regimental Ball offers attendees the opportunity to honor the Finance Corps' rich
heritage while forging new connections and strengthening bonds within the community.

By embracing the theme of "Stewarding Change," FC professionals are poised to lead the way in
shaping the future of Army sustainment and ensuring readiness for decades to come. We look
forward to seeing you at Regimental Week, either in person or virtually, as we embark on this
journey of transformation and progress. Keep an eye out for registration details.

Together, let us embark on this journey with resolve and determination, confident in our ability to
adapt, evolve, and thrive in the dynamic landscape of modern warfare. The future of the Finance
Corps is bright, and I am honored to be part of this historic moment as we shape the destiny of our
Corps and its enduring legacy of service to the nation.
