6. Closing Remarks by the President of The WFB
The Chairman read the Closing Remark from President of The WFB which expressed
that Buddhism is a vital spiritual force in the world engulfed by materialistic pressures and
technological advancement. By embracing the Brahma-Vihara (the Four Divine States), world
peace may achieve. H.E. Phan Wannamethee conveyed his heartfelt thanks to the Most Rev.
Shinzan Egawa, President of Japan Buddhist Federation, and all individuals who had made
success to this conference.
The Chairman then announced closing of the Meeting at 18:30 hrs.
