3. Presentation of The WFB Charters
Charters were presented to the new Regional Centres of The WFB as followed:
1) Bangladesh Bouddha Bhikkhu Mahasabha, Bangladesh
2) Vietnamese Buddhist Phuoc Hue Temple Incorporation, Australia
3) Daylesford Dharma School, Australia
4) An Sim Jeong Sa, South Korea
5) Federation of Australian Buddhist Councils Inc., Australia
6) Dipankara Buddhist Organization, Chinese Taipei
7) Kapo Seba Sangha, Bangladesh
8) Supatipanno Foundation, Thailand
9) Namsai Pariyatti Sasana Buddhist Vihara, India
4. Assignment to Standing Committees of The WFB
Mrs. Camellia Darmawan, EXCO Member, requested Chairperson of Standing Committees
who attended the Conference, to set plan that can be executed with framework. The activity
should be performed not only in country of the Chairperson, but it should be achievable
and internationally.
All of Standing Committees will meet in the afternoon today in order to have reports
ready to present at the 2nd Plenary Session.
5. Other Business
Phra Shakyavongsvisuddhi (Anil Sakya), WBU Rector, informed that International
Conference on Buddhist Path to Sustainable Development will be held during 4-5
December B.E. 2561 (2018) at The WFB Headquarters in Bangkok, Thailand of which
prominent scholars from Asia, Europe, and America will be invited to present and discuss
on such topics. Its outcomes will be concluded and published into a reference book on
Sustainable Development.
