3. Adoption of Resolution and recommendation of the 29 WFB General Conference

One resolutions proposed by The WFB Executive Council, and three resolutions by
Sirindhornrajvidyalai Foundation under Royal Patronage, Thailand were presented. Four
resolutions were approved with acclamation.
First Resolution
Establishing a formal relationship between The WFB and Association of Master Chin
Kung’s Friends at UNESCO-Peace and Harmony Development (PAHD), which members
comprise people professing non-Buddhist religions, to collaborate perform activities at the
international level and it reveals relationship of Buddhist organization with inter-religious
organization working for harmony and peace of humankind.
Second Resolution
Dato’ Khoo Leong Hun, Hon. Vice-President, who is the founding member and the only
living figure since the establishment of The WFB, has provided valuable suggestion to the
administration and assisted activities of The WFB throughout the time. According to
The WFB Constitution, Article 5, paragraph 3; Dato’ Khoo Leong Hun is invited to be
Honorary President of The WFB.
Third Resolution
To widen network of co-operation and mutually support activities of both The WFB and
WFBY, any group of The WFB or WFBY that has considerable number of members,
substantial years of membership, and has performed credible activities; they can
automatically apply as a Regional Centre of The WFB or of WFBY.
Fourth Resolution
To perform activity in the same direction and to contribute solidification as a whole WFB,
President of WFBY, and Rector of WBU which are subordinate organs of The WFB, are
invited to join Executive Council (EXCO) Meeting of The WFB as part of the Executive
Council of The WFB.
4. Adjournment speech by Representative of Participants
Messages from distinguished persons and organizations were read at the General Council
Meeting.

5. The Venue for the 30 WFB General Conference
The Secretary-General informed that there were some Regional Centres expressed interests
in hosting the next General Conference of The WFB. However, the concerning issue of visa
application to the host country such as in U.S.A. was raised up, particularly for Regional Centres
in Asia. Therefore, EXCO Members will discuss this matter and submit it to consideration
of H.E. Phan Wannamethee, President of The WFB, before officially announcing its venue.
