Diagnosis procedure IN
Danger
● Do not dismount the fuel pressure sensor by yourself. There is leakage danger. Get the professional DI
service personnel to dismount it.
● The rail pressure sensor shall be fixed via a hexagonal face as per the special torque, usually EG
delivered with the fuel rail together, and the sensor shall not be privately replaced. Avoid bumping the
sensor interface when installing the oil rail.

1. Read the DTC and data on the diagnosis instrument
a. Start the engine to run at idle

b. Use the diagnosis instrument to perform DTC confirmation procedure
c. Use the diagnosis instrument to read the sensor data stream
FR
d. Adopt a diagnostic unit to read the data of fuel pressure sensor.
Check if the result is ok?
ST
Yes>intermittent failure
NO>go to Step 2. BR
2. Check the power circuit of fuel pressure sensor.
a. Ignition switch: ON. BW
b. Measure the voltage of 3 pin to ground from the back of
A007 connector of fuel pressure sensor. EL
Standard voltage:
Multimeter connection Standard value
A007(3)-grounding About 5V
Check if the result is ok?
Yes>go to Step 3.
No>check, repair or replace the power harness of fuel pressure sensor.
3. Check the ground circuit of fuel pressure sensor.
a. Ignition switch: LOCK.
b. Disconnect the cable of battery negative pole.
c. Disconnect the connector A007 of fuel pressure sensor and ECM connector A001 separately.
