d. Measure the resistance between Pin 2 of camshaft
position sensor connector A010 and Pin 63 of ECM
connector A001.
Standard resistance:

Multimeter connection Standard value

A010(2)-A001(63) About 0Ω

Check if the result is ok?
Yes>go to Step 4.
No>check, repair or replace the ground harness of sensor.

4. Check the signal circuit of camshaft position sensor
a. Ignition switch: LOCK.

b. Disconnect the cable of battery negative pole
c. Disconnect the camshaft position sensor connector A001 and ECM connector A010.

d. Measure the resistance between Pin 3 of camshaft
position sensor connector A010 and Pin 62 of ECM
connector A001.
Standard resistance:

Multimeter connection Standard value

A010(3)-A001(62) About 0Ω

Check if the result is ok?
Yes>go to Step 5.

No>check, repair or replace the power harness of sensor.
5. Replace and check the camshaft position sensor.

a. Replace the crankshaft position sensor
b. Use the diagnosis instrument to perform DTC confirmation procedure

c. Perform the procedure of reading the sensor data stream Confirm if the inspection result is ok
Check if the result is ok?

Yes> Replace the camshaft position sensor.
NO>go to Step 6.
