222- The voltage of barometric pressure sensor 1 circuit is lower than the normal value or short to the
low voltage power supply

Overview
1. Environmental pressure sensor is used to collect barometric pressure signals and sense the altitude that the
car travels, so that the appropriate parameters can be amended appropriately to adjust the fuel injection of the
vehicle and engine work..

2. Barometric pressure forms a semiconductor deformation on the surface of the sheet in the environmental
pressure sensor structure to deform the sheet to produce the piezoelectric impedance effect, so that the change
of impedance is converted into an electrical signal and sent to the ECM of the engine.

Diagnosis procedure

1. Read the DTC and data on the diagnosis instrument
a. Start the engine to run at idle

b. Use the diagnosis instrument to perform DTC confirmation procedure
c. Use the diagnosis instrument to read the sensor data stream
d. Adopt the diagnostic unit to read the waveform of barometric pressure sensor.
Check if the result is ok?

Yes>intermittent failure
NO>go to Step 2.
