Overview
1. NOx sensor is a precise detecting element, which receives the control command from engine ECM module. EG

2. NOx sensor shall be permanently fixed and installed on after-emission handling device. It shall be repaired
as an integral part, and can’t be separately replaced. TR
3. NOx sensor is used to check nitrogen or oxygen content of NOx at engine emission outlet.

Diagnosis procedure

1. Read the DTC and data on the diagnosis instrument

a. Start the engine to run at idle

b. Use the diagnosis instrument to perform DTC confirmation procedure

c. Use the diagnosis instrument to read the sensor data stream

d. Adopt the diagnostic unit to read the waveform of nitrogen oxide sensor.
