Heater and AC-Refrigerant oil
Replace
1. Exhaust the refrigerant
(a). Turn on the AC switch.
(b). Run the engine 5 to 6 minutes at 1000rmp to make the refrigerant flow; and collect the
refrigerant oil in every part to compressor as possible.
(c). Stop the engine.
(d) Reclaim the refrigerant.
Hint:
Do not exhaust the refrigerant into air because it
will pollute the environment.
2. Evacuate to vacuum
(a). Connect dual manifold pressure meter,
refrigerant filling pipe and vacuum pump
together and evacuate to vacuum.
(b). First open the high pressure and low
pressure valves of the pressure meter,
then open the valve of vacuum pump (if
there is) when the evacuation begins.
(c). Turn the switch of vacuum pump to ON
51
position and evacuate more than 20m;
turn off high/low pressure valves of the
pressure meter and the switch of vacuum
to stop vacuum pump when the pressure
displayed on the meter reaches to or near
to -760mmHg.
3. Air tightness inspection
(a). Notes the reading of pressure meter and check the pressure inside of the circuit 5 minutes
after vacuum pump is stopped; continue the next step when it is confirmed that the reading
is not changed. Repair the leak and then evacuate if the pressure increases (the speed of
increase is related with the scale of leak).
