Heater and AC-Refrigerant oil
Replacement
1. Discharge the refrigerant (refer to “Chapter 51 Heater and AC-Refrigerant,
Replacement”)
2. Discharge the refrigerant oil
(a). Disassemble the compressor (refer to “Chapter 51 Heater and AC-compressor,
Replacement”)
(b). Pour out refrigerant oil from compressor.
3. Fill in refrigerant oil
(a). Install compressor (refer to “Chapter 51 Heater and AC-compressor, Replacement”).
(b). Fill in refrigerant oil according to specified quantity.
Standard value: 180ml
z Normally for new AC system, it does not need to fill extra refrigerant oil, because
inside of new compressor there is stored all necessary refrigerant oil required by the
complete system (14%-18% of the refrigerant inside of AC system). It will need
filling refrigerant oil if the AC system is repaired more than two times or there is
refrigerant oil deficient caused by other reasons. Supplement some refrigerant oil
after the replacement of system.
Name of replaced part Refrigerant oil quantity to be supplemented
Compressor It does not need filling in grease because there are 180ml grease brought by
compressor
