Diagnosis-ABS system

2. Checking for ASR (ABS) blink code indicator light control circuit open

(a) Use a multimeter to measure voltage to
ground of connector pin 7 of
combination meter B033.
Voltage: battery voltage

Is check result normal?
Yes > Repair line open between connector pin 7 of combination meter B033 and connector
pin 1 of ABS diagnostic switch B046.
No > Replace combination meter assembly.
3. Checking ABS diagnostic switch

(a) Ignition switch: OFF.

(b) Press and hold ABS diagnostic switch.
(c) Use a multimeter to measure resistance
between pins 1 and 3 of ABS diagnostic
switch.
Resistance: ≤2Ω

Is check result normal?
Yes > Go to step 4.
No > Replace ABS diagnostic switch.
