Diagnostic Procedure

1. Checking front fog light relay

(a) Check front fog light relay R33.

Standard values:

Use a multimeter Specified
Condition
to connect pins value
Normal 1 - 2 Continuity
04 Apply supply 3 - 5 Continuity
voltage between
pins 1 and 2.

Are check results normal?
Yes > Go to step 2.
No > Replace front fog light relay.

2. Checking combination switch

(a) Check combination switch.

Resistances:

Use a multimeter Specified
Condition
to connect pins value
Fog light switch 2 - 7 > 1 MΩ
OFF
Fog light switch 2 - 7 ≤ 2 Ω
ON

Are check results normal?
Yes > Repair or replace harnesses.
No > Replace combination switch.
