(b) Continuity check
• Disconnect connectors A and C
and measure the resistance
between them.
sensor Resistance: <2Ω
Tip:
Gently rock the harness both horizontally and
vertically, and measure its resistance.
Take this circuit as an example:

If the resistance between pins 1 of
connectors A and C is greater than 1MΩ;
and the resistance between pins 2 of
connectors A and C is less than 2Ω;
then you can judge that there is an open
circuit between pins 1 of connectors A
and C.
• Disconnect connector B and measure the 01
resistance between connectors.
Take this circuit as an example:
If the resistance between pins 1 of connectors A
sensor
and B1 is less than 2Ω;
and the resistance between pins 1 of connectors
B2 and C is greater than 1MΩ;
then you can judge that there is an open circuit
between pins 1 of connectors B2 and C.
