(b) Use a multimeter to measure resistances
between connector pins 2 and 6 of audio
unit B045 and connector pins 1 and 2 of
left speaker E002 respectively.
Resistance: ≤2Ω

(c) Use a multimeter to measure resistances
between connector pins 1 and 5 of audio
unit B045 and connector pins 1 and 2 of
right speaker D002 respectively. 4
Resistance: ≤2Ω

Are check results normal?
Yes > Go to step 4.
No > Repair line open between connector pins 1, 2, 5, and 6 of audio unit B045 and connector pins
1 and 2 of left and right speakers E002 and D002.
4. Comparing with models of the same kind
(a) Set “BAS”, “TRE”, and “BAL” of audio unit to the same level.
(b) Compare with models of the same kind.
Check speakers for uniform volume.
Yes > End of check
No > Replace CD or MP3 audio unit.
