CD can not be inserted/played or immediately ejected after

inserted

Diagnostic Procedure

1. Checking if an appropriate CD has been inserted
(a) Ensure that the CD is an audio CD which is free of deformation, defects, dirt, scratches, or
failure.
Tips:
• Semitransparent or exotic CDs can not be played.
• Do not play CDs with sticker label.
• Commercial audio CDs can be played.
• For more information about playable CDs, please refer to “Operation Manual of the Audio 4
System (in Chinese and English)”.
Is check result normal?
Yes > Go to step 2.
No > Replace and use an appropriate CD.
2. Checking if an CD is inserted correctly
(a) Check if the CD is inserted upside down.
Is check result normal?
Yes > Go to step 3.
No > Please insert the CD correctly. (Refer to “Operation Manual of the Audio System” in
Chinese and English.)
3. Checking a CD
(a) Check if the CD is too dirty.
(b) If too dirty, wipe and clean it radially
from inside to outside with a soft cloth as
shown in the figure.
Notice:
Do not use any common CD cleaner or
antistatic protectant.

(c) Insert the CD.
Check audio unit for normal play.
Yes > Please use a clean CD.
No > Go to step 4.
