Diagnosis-Power Windows

Diagnostic procedure

1. Checking power circuit of left front door control switch
(a) Ignition switch: ON.
(b) Use a multimeter to measure voltage to
ground of connector pin 3 of left front
door control switch E003.
Voltage: battery voltage

Is check result normal?
Yes > Go to step 2.
No > Repair line open between fuse F4 (20A) and connector pin 3 of left front door control switch
E003.
2. Checking control circuit of left front door glass lifter

(a) Use a multimeter to measure voltage
between connector pins 1 and 2 of left
front door glass lifter E004.
(b) Depress left front door control switch
(left front window).
Voltage: battery voltage
(c) Pull up left front door control switch (left
front window).
Voltage: battery voltage

Is check result normal?
Yes > Replace left front door glass lifter.
No > Go to step 3.
