3. Checking for oil pressure indicator light signal circuit open
(a) Ignition switch: OFF.
(b) Disconnect the connector connecting oil
pressure alarm switch C040.

(c) Ignition switch: ON.
(d) Use a multimeter to measure voltage to
ground of connector pin 1 of oil pressure
alarm switch C040.
Voltage: battery voltage
Is check result normal?
Yes > Replace oil pressure alarm switch.
No > Go to step 4.
