Fuel sensor

Replacement

1. Releasing fuel pressure (refer to “Chapter 11 Fuel, Precautions”)
2. Disconnecting battery negative cable
3. Disconnecting fuel sensor
(a) Disconnect connector of fuel sensor.
Tip:
There is usually dirt on the fuel sensor
connector, so you can lightly tap it for several
times with an appropriate tool before the
operation when it is difficult to disconnect.

4. Disconnecting front fuel delivery pipe
(a) Loosen front fuel delivery pipe joint
nut.

5. Disconnecting fuel return pipe
(a) Loosen fuel return pipe joint nut.
