                                            management and operation of mechanical equipment within the gas industry

                                            Introduction to IGEM/SR/25
                                            Delivered in two, three-hour sessions on 12 and 13 October |
                                            Online training

                                            This course will provide an understanding of the background, rationale and
                                            purpose of IGEM/SR/2 Edition 2 – Hazardous area classification of natural gas

                                            Introduction to IGEM/TD/3
                                            Delivered in two, three-hour sessions on 19 and 20 October |
                                            Online training

                                            Gain an understanding of the objectives of IGEM/TD/3 Edition 5 – steel and
                                            polyethylene (PE) pipelines for gas distribution and how the standard can

                                            This course covers the main aspects of hydrogen as a utility and why it is seen
                                            as a potential route to achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050.

                                            Learn key legal requirements, pipeline compliance best practice and to
                                            review or develop procedures to ensure compliance with the Pipeline Safety
                                            Regulations (PSR), Gas Safety (Management) Regulations (GSMR) and
                                            Reporting of Injuries Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations
