Understanding the process of EIA, EMP and where WMP is located within the process and
procedure in preparing the EIA is in Chapter 2. Note that Wildlife Impact Study (WIS) is a part of
EIA and WMP is a part of EMP. Without approval of WIS by PERHILITAN, the EIA may not be
approved, and without the approval of the WMP by PERHILITAN, the EMP report may not be
approved by DOE, thereby preventing a proposed project from commencing.
