             • Is it easier to favour entertainment over work?
             • Is it easier to spend hours on Social Media?
             • Is it easier to watch television rather than work?

             • Is it easier to avoid any tension?
             • Is it easier to ignore a difficult situation?
             • Is it easier to avoid making calls?

So, if you are wondering that the answers to these questions are
obvious and how does it help you do the right thing? I want you to
continue the exercise by adding more list of things that you are
doing that you must stop doing. We talked about focus earlier, all
these things I listed here are anti-focus. If you manage to do the
opposite of them then you will be able to exercise focus in your
             business.
Sleep – I talked about this in my book that Margaret Thatcher
popularised the concept of not sleeping enough to get more done.
She said, ‘sleep is for wimps. Some people took this to heart, but
scientists have a contrary opinion that lack of sleep is not only bad
for productivity, but it is also bad for your health. So, the length of
sleep is important as well as when you sleep. The minimum of 7-
8 hours is the recommended time. More importantly, sleeping at
the same time every day and waking up at the same would provide
better benefits. When I coach business leaders, my first exercise
to test their ability to change is to ask them to maintain a consistent
sleep pattern. Most people struggle with this, but the benefit will
surprise you if you manage to comply. By the way, if you cannot
change your sleep pattern or maintain consistency; you are
unlikely to be able to exercise the willpower to create any kind of
change in your life or business.
Planning – What consumes most energy is thinking, and most
people waste this energy on frivolous things like, what should I do
next after finishing one task. You must plan your tomorrow today
and stick to the plan. This is where your ability to stay consistent
with your sleep pattern will help you to stick to your plan. Resist
the temptation to go unconscious or do a random task that’s
