True Lover’s Knot



                Knots can be symbols and in this true
                lover’s knot the two overhand knots are
                linked, symbolizing love joining separate

                halves to make one, but each part still
                free to move. This knot can be found

                made up into rings and bracelets. To
                enable the knot to sit properly, notice
                that each of the overhand knots is the

                mirror of the other.



                1- Make an overhand knot (see page 38) in
                                                 %
                    one strand of the rope.
                2 Bring the other rope up through the
                    overhand knot, round under itself, then over

                    and down, making a second
                    inter-linked overhand knot.

                3 The finished knot with other true lover’s knot
                    pieces of jewelry.
