True Lover’s Knot
Knots can be symbols and in this true
lover’s knot the two overhand knots are
linked, symbolizing love joining separate
halves to make one, but each part still
free to move. This knot can be found
made up into rings and bracelets. To
enable the knot to sit properly, notice
that each of the overhand knots is the
mirror of the other.
1- Make an overhand knot (see page 38) in
%
one strand of the rope.
2 Bring the other rope up through the
overhand knot, round under itself, then over
and down, making a second
inter-linked overhand knot.
3 The finished knot with other true lover’s knot
pieces of jewelry.
