The bible lets us know that to pursue riches is to get oneself out of

safe grounds and fall… and that the pursuit of, or the love of money is

at the root of ALL evil. (1Tim.6:9-10).

Many times we think the plan of God is just to make us survive. But

this is an error, God wants you to be so rich that you would lend to

nations and not borrow:

Deuteronomy 28:12 (Living Bible)

He will open to you his wonderful treasury of rain in the heavens, to

give you fine crops every season. HE WILL BLESS EVERYTHING YOU

DO; AND YOU SHALL LEND TO MANY NATIONS AND NOT BORROW

FROM THEM.

This is just awesome. God was not joking when he said this - he meant

it totally, because your prosperity is a means of God getting high

(permit the terminology):

Psalm 35:27

Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause:

yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hath

pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.

Though all of this is true, the sad thing is that we can limit the

operation of God in our lives to mere survival. How can this happen?

We see in the life of the Jews how they limited God:

Psalm 78:41-42

Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and LIMITED the Holy One

of Israel. They remembered not his hand, nor the day when he

delivered them from the enemy
