Following the above principles, aiming at the green matrix integration and potential base
creation in Taipei metropolitan area, the construction of the green space system is proposed
from three steps:

Step1
Planning Scale: Construct a top-down guiding strategy

Collect open information on environmental issues relating park and green space.
Master geographic information at different spatial scales. Analyze foreign cases,
related plans and overall review of urban plans. Understand the guiding direction of
related urban development and statutory plans for Taipei Park and Green Space. By
analyzing the environmental background and the basic information of the park and
green space, further divide the environmental zoning. Construct the Taipei Park and
Green Space System Planning from top to bottom.

In addition, in order to obtain the opinions from different professionals, regular
advisory meetings are held to acquire experts and scholars’ recommendations. At the
same time, it integrates government policies and provides directions for establishing
and renovating a single unit park.
