AN EPIC READING OF REV. DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR.’S ‘LETTER FROM A BIRMINGHAM JAIL’
The Robert W. Saunders Branch Library was the site of an Epic Reading of Dr. King’s Letter From A Birming- ham Jail. The event was held on Monday, January 30, 2017, in partnership with Young Performing Artists, Inc. Among the eloquent readers who participated were: Doris Joe, Joyce Cotton, Sally Holt Smith, Ouida Hilton, Har- riet Ellington, Marilyn Jackson, Ersula Odom and Dr. Marilyn Loblack.
