The Palestinian Fatah and Hamas movements pledged on Thursday "unity" against

Israel's plan to annex parts of the occupied West Bank, in a joint press conference after a
long break between them.

"We will work to develop all mechanisms that achieve national unity," said the Secretary of

the Fatah Central Committee, Major General Jibril Rajoub. "Today is the day of Palestinian
unity, and we want to speak with one voice," said Saleh al-Arouri, deputy head of the

political bureau of Hamas.

Such calls from the Palestinian Authority and Hamas to distribute accusations of treason
towards the UAE from a security perspective are nothing but calls for Hamas members
scattered around the world to attack and retaliate against Emirati interests in different

countries. This is what I personally expect, based on what happened in the period when
Egypt signed the peace agreement with Israel. Many kidnappings and bombings occurred

during that period.

UAE homeland security authorisation has to be aware of such actions might happened
soon .

Turkey - Erdogan:"Erdogan announced that Turkey may freeze its relations with the UAE
against the background of the agreement with Israel."

I think that Erdogan's statement is nothing but a hasty reaction as usual from the

unexpected shock of the news due to the state of secrecy that accompanied the
announcement of that agreement .
