וֹדּ ְג ֶנ ְכּ רֶז ֵע וֹל הֹ ֶש ֱע ֶא
A request was brought to us regarding an essay written by our
father, master and teacher entitled “and know that your home
will be peaceful” which deals with the proper conduct of the ֶי ֶא פי ֵבּ ס ַחַיּ ַה ְו תֶי ַבּ ַה תוּה ַמ תּדּא ת ַע ַד ָל םי ֶצּר וּנ ָא ם ִא
home, and translate it for the benefit of the English-speaking .ה ֶָ ֶא ָה ת ַאי ֶר ְבּ ת ֶַ ָר ָׁ ת ִא דֹמ ְל ֶל םי ֶכי ֶר ְצ וּנ ָא - ּתּ ְֶ ֶא ְל
public that is not proficient in the holy Hebrew language.
Since several Torah Scholars have reviewed the translation – תי ֶֶא ֵר ְבּ[ "ּדּ ְג ִנ ְכּ ר ִז ֵע ּל הֹ ִש ֱע ִא ּדּ ַב ְל ם ָד ָא ָה תּי ֱה בּט אלֹ"
first among them is the great Gaon Rabbi Aharon Feldman
Shlitah, the head of the yeshiva in Baltimore who has much תּי ְה ֶל ם ָד ָא ָה א ָר ְב ֶנּ ִֶ ה ִא ְר ֶנ וּנּ ִני ֵא" :פ" ַבּ ְמ ַר ָה ל ֵאֶּ .]ח"י 'ב
experience in these matters – and have testified and given ל ָכּ ֶמ ה ָב ֵר ְנוּ ר ָכ ָז םי ֶא ָר ְב ֶנּ ַה ל ָכּ ִֶ ,די ֶלּי אלֹ ְו ם ָלּע ָבּ י ֶדי ֶחְי
their approbation to it as being faithful to its source in the holy
language, we are giving them our blessing that they should .ם ִה ָבּ ם ָע ְר ַז ץ ֵע ָה ְו ב ִשׂ ֵע ָה ם ַג ְו ,ע ַר ִז םי ֶר ָה ְל וּא ְר ְב ֶנ רֹ ָש ָבּ
see much blessing from their work, and the great public merit וּדּ ]א"ע ח"י פי ֶבוּר ֵע[ ר ֵמּא ָה י ֵר ְב ֶד ְכּ הָי ָה י ֶכּ ,ר ַמּל פ ֵכ ָתֶּי ל ָב ֲא
of this endeavor should stand for their merit in the World of י ֵר ְבי ֵא ְבּ אי ֶב ֵמ ע ַב ִט ם ִה ָבּ וּי ְהֶיּ ִֶ וֹּש ֲע ַנ ְו ,וּא ְר ְב ֶנ םי ֶפוּצ ְר ַׁ
Truth for blessing and success.
ףוּצ ְר ַׁ ַה הָי ָה ְו ...די ֶלּמ ַחֹכּ ה ָב ֵר ְנּ ַה ל ִא ר ָכ ָזּ ַה פ ֶמ ה ָד ָלּה ַה
The children of our father, master and teacher, הִי ְהֶיּ ִֶ בּט י ֶכּ ה" ָבּ ָקּ ַה ה ָא ָר ְו .ּתּ ְד ַלּת ְבּ פֶּא ֶר ָל ר ִז ֵע י ֶנ ֵשּׁ ַה
