politically and economically discriminated discriminated by
caste Christians, by church authorities, by the Government and
so on.
Being denied of their rights and constitutional provisions
Dalit Christians are victimised by the empire. They claim their
status as being a Christian ( as sc status is denied for converted
Dalit Christians). When Indian constitution was drafted some
special privileges were extended to the social category to ensure
equality and dignity but the SC’s by virtue of following religions
other than Hinduism were denied these privileges and rights
The religious fascist and bureaucratic empire doesn’t
allow the Dalit Christians and Muslims to achieve the SC status
for it empowers them. The multiple attempts to achieve their
rights fighting against empire not only leave the communities
broken in and out but also vexed to stand against the empire.
Denial emotionally, mentally, physically breaks a person
in and out which imbibes a sense of insecurity. Denial brings
a sense of desertedness which makes one aloof from living a
healthy social life. Once denied forever the trust on a person is
broken which can never be fixed.
The powerplay of the empire snatches away the basic
rights of the broken and vulnerable communities which makes
living more difficult for the denied communities. Denial in a
relationship makes the person more isolated and burnt out
causing suicidal tendency. In any context denial is malicious,
which makes the victim to refuse the reality.
The Church which is once a denied community but now
stronger in Christ should extends its solidarity to the denied
and broken communities and shower on them the true love of
Christ which he showered on the entire mankind.
As the power of resurrected Christ transformed peter,
a coward turned courageous and became the leader of the
apostles. As communities of Christ we need to come under this
transformative experience to stand strong against the casteist
