of Malkose was able to stand against and accuse Peter, the
        prominent disciple of Jesus Christ.
If we try to reimage these characters, who are part and
parcel of this event shows that even a servant of High priest,
who is participating in the power and authority of the religious
        leader The High priest !
Now let us meditate on the actions of this servant of
High priest: even the powerless got power over people because
of their association with the power full. After all the servant of
High priest got power and he is exercising that authority in real
life. His accusation against Peter depicts that arrogance.

Let us reimage this event from this point of vision: the
power and authority of God the almighty is there with Jesus to
bear cross and to bring the deliverance to the whole world, Jesus
used that authority to save us and creation. We as followers of
Jesus Christ we have to practice such power and authority of
Almighty. As part of this meditation let us reimage ourselves
that, we are already powered by God’s own image (Gen.1:26)
and by His likeness (Gen.1:27), we have seen that the powerless
servant got power because of the association with the High
priest. Here we have to understand and practice that power of
        God in us.

Jesus got the authority over death, because of the over
powering rule of God the Father, while hanging on cross world
may see it as powerlessness, but He is establishing as King of
Kings, let us surrender ourselves before this power to share His
life giving death on the cross as Good News to all during this
        Lenten season.
