Your chivalry was a melodic
misconception
so, I’m writing this epitaph for you
at your earliest convenience, read it
over
maybe now you will realize how much
I truly adored you
It is lucid to me now
your melancholy stares manipulated
all my thoughts
our love is rotting like a body
the putrefaction seemed to happen oh
so quickly
All your prestigious wisdom, I couldn’t
keep up
you’re my false god; I believed you
until I made my mind up
I’m turning my back to you like an
apostasy
'cause your clueless when it comes to
honesty. 12
