FIAP Exhibition Centres

1. Only an Operational Member or an ILFIAP Member can ask FIAP for the opening of a FIAP Exhibition
Centre (FEC), sending a letter to the FIAP President.
2. The exclusive nature of the FEC does not allow the coexistence with other international
associations/federations, with the exception of the organization which hosts the FEC (nevertheless,
exhibitions by other national or international organizations can be organized at the FEC, in addition to the
FIAP exhibitions).
3. The person in charge for the centre, chosen by the Operational Member/Local Member, is appointed by
FIAP as “Director of FEC”
4. The centre commits to organize a minimum of 5 exhibitions/audio-visuals FIAP every year, under FIAP
Auspices.
5. The Director of a FEC has to ensure directly or indirectly, through his staff, a constant contact with the
FIAP person in charge of the coordination of the Exhibition’s Centres FIAP.
6. The FEC commits not to diffuse in any manner or form, the high resolution files received from FIAP and it
assumes the complete and total responsibility of the same files inside the country. The FEC is committed
to the respect of the laws on Intellectual property and author’s rights.
7. At the end of every FIAP event he organizes, the Director of the FEC commits to send a brief presentation
of the event, in English and in Word format, accompanied by about ten images (on each image must
appear: name of the author and title); this has to be sent to the editorial office of FIAP NEWS.
8. The events organized by the centres will receive the FIAP’s Auspices, upon a preliminary analysis of the
FIAP President.
9. The FEC undertakes to develop, in agreement with FIAP, all initiatives aiming at developing FIAP on its
own territory.
10. The creation of a FEC within a country is the exclusive competence of the FIAP BD; in any case, the
opinion of the Operational Member will be carefully examined.
11. The decision to create a FEC is realized through a special letter sent by the FIAP President.
12. More than a FEC can coexist within a same country.
13. FIAP commits to send to each FEC a plaque to be affixed in front of the centre, the same for all centres,
and a FIAP flag to be exhibited inside the centre itself.
14. The opening of a FEC has to be organized with a public ceremony and has to be the occasion of an
Exhibition under FIAP Auspices.
15. If the FEC does not respect the present regulation, the FIAP BD can decide unilaterally to remove the FIAP
recognition.
