      This SOP's Purpose/Goal
      To determine, assess and provide professional development activities for staff.




      Standard Operation:
      1) Set evaluation goals and objectives.
         a) Upon hiring, distributed expectations and goals for employee including professional development
         a) Determine CPE requirements needed to obtain or maintain applicable certification

      2) Ensure enrollment is scheduled for development / training.
         a) Document training needed (i.e., ICAET workshops, training to maintain certification, LMS/Quality Matters
         training)
         b) Secure training (registration, payment, etc.)
         c) Secure professional organizations that improve knowledge and increase expertise

      3) Document training / cross-reference with evaluation goals and objectives.


      4) Present training knowledge outcomes to staff, collogues, students and other needed audience.
         a) Present knowledge gain during annual retreat, team meetings, etc.

      5) Document and/or implement knowledge gain in subsequent cycles.


      6) Assess/Measure implementation of new requirements as appropriate.

      7) Evaluation of obtain professional development and training on and during annual personnel evaluation.
