Responsible for developing and administering online and graduate education programs.
This is a startup responsibility leading to the University building capabilities to manage
revenue generating online and graduate programs. Online and graduate programs are
expected to comprise a significant proportion of new revenue for the University and are
considered the primary growth areas in accordance with the strategic plan.
Associate Vice President for Distance Education, Delaware State University, April 2013 –
June 2018
• Responsible for providing leadership for the Office of Distance Education and Learning
Technologies. This entailed overseeing the administration of the learning management
system (Blackboard), providing strategic vision for the distance education programs
including developing online undergraduate and graduate programs, and assisting faculty
with the development and support of online courses.
Interim Program Director – Master of Public Administration Program, Delaware State
University, January 2015 – May 2018
Developed and implemented the MPA Program at Delaware State University. The
program was delivered at the DSU at Wilmington campus and as a fully online program.
Managed all phases of program administration including curriculum development,
instruction, and academic administration.
Academic Program Director, Post University 8/2012 – 4/2013
• Serve as director of the Master of Public Administration (MPA) Program which is part of
the John P. Burke School of Public Service. The MPA Program is unique in that it has a
shared curriculum with the Malcolm Baldrige School of Business Administration and has
separate MPA core courses. The MPA is the only fully online MPA program in
Connecticut and is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges
(NEASC).
• Responsible for all phases of program administration and development, which includes
designing and developing new courses, redesigning existing courses, managing seven
