ADMINISTRATION
AND FINANCE
The Administration and Finance Division of Southern University at New Orleans (SUNO) role is to
support the University’s financial, physical and technological resources and to maintain stewardship
of the university’s resources.
We do this through sound
internal control structures
ensuring that
financial statements are
prepared compliance
with GAAP. For FY
2019-20, The Division
accomplished many of
its outstanding goals. It
is noteworthy that
our division has met all
three (3) strategic goals.
The division also created its first annual
(9) nine
(Payroll, Capacity Building Institute to provide continuous
Travel, Student Accounts, training and professional development for not only
General Accounting), all its staff but also for all administrative staff
Purchasing, Information Technology, across the university. All-in-all, we had an excellent
Facilities and Construction, Campus year, and have created a path to providing excellent
Police, Budget and the Office of service and continuous financial sustainability.
