The New Horizon Lions Club celebrated their 12th.
Charter Anniversary on Sunday May 15 th at the Congrats to Melvin Jones recipients, Lions Julia Mack, Julia
Independent United Order of Mechanics Temple (IOUM) Brathwaite and Angela Doldron with DG Anthony
Inc., in Brooklyn.

During the live celebration, two new Lions were inducted,
two scholarships were awarded, and four outgoing Club
officers were honored with the prestigious Melvin Jones
recognition. Several other Lions were recognized for their
dedication to community service.

Special invited guests included District Governor Anthony
Cochran, 2nd. VDG - Elect Romeo Hitlall, IPDG
Jacqueline V. Phillips, PDGs Alvin Brereton and Audrey
Doorn, and Zone Chair Bernadette Hokai. Ms. Aziza Innis, (second from left) scholarship recipient,
