MAMMOGRAPHY VAN
On March 24th, Queens United Lions Club “teamed”
with Healthcare Education Project Hope, and Aliento
de Vida Church. We brought the American- Italian
Cancer Foundation mobile mammography van to our
community in Corona, Queens.
We served 27 women who may not
have done the mammogram because they lacked Health
Insurance.
As new Lions of District 20-K1, we are
grateful to bring access to breast cancer
screening by providing resources to underserved
communities.
